Kia Tasman

Bull bars and accessories that look great and will give your Kia Tasman a super aggressive look.

FAQ's

How does the Offroad Animal bull bar work with the Kia Tasman's unique front?

The Kia Tasman’s styling has definitely divided people, but it’s a killer performer under the skin. Don't let people make fun of the way your Tasman looks any longer. Our Predator and Toro bars are engineered to make your Tasman look mean as while offering serious protection for your rig. These are full steel bumper replacements specifically for the X-Line and X-Pro models. Because they sit closer to the vehicle and don't stick out like a massive old-school shelf, you get a much better-looking front end with improved airflow to keep your motor cool when you’re pushing it.

Will an aftermarket bar mess with my Tasman’s safety sensors and tech?

An aftermarket will not mess with your Tasman's safety sensors and tech if it’s an Offroad Animal bar. We know the Tasman is loaded with tech like Forward Collision-Avoidance, Smart Cruise Control, and 360-degree cameras. While some other bars on the market might require you to disable these systems, our bars are built to work with all your factory parking sensors, radars, and cameras. You get tough as nails protection without losing any of the smarts Kia built into the vehicle.

Is the Kia Tasman bull bar winch compatible, and how hard is it to maintain?

Every one of our Tasman bars is a great place to mount a winch (up to 12,000 lbs) right out of the box. We use a feet down mounting system, which is exactly how winches were designed to handle a heavy load. Best of all, the winch can be mounted after the bar is already fitted. This is super convenient for regular maintenance or if you decide to add a winch down the track, no need for a full-day teardown just to get to your gear.

How much weight does the bull bar add to the front of the Tasman?

We’ve engineered our bars to weigh much less than your typical bulky bull bar while still being incredibly strong. By making the bar sit closer to the chassis, we reduce the leverage and the overall net weight. For the Toro bar, the net added weight is only 65kg (since you’re stripping 21.5kg of factory plastic off), and for the Predator, it’s just 56kg net. This keeps your suspension happy and your fuel economy from tanking while you're out touring.

Can I customise the bar with my own lights and gear?

Yes, our bars are built to be the ultimate accessory platform. You can bolt on up to four 9" driving lights on top and fit an integrated 32" LED light bar right inside the bar. We also include two antenna mounts and integrated recovery points (machined to suit soft shackles) as standard. If you want to go the extra mile, the bar can be colour-coded to match your paint, or you can run it in our signature stealthy Matte Black powder coat

Where can I get an Offroad Animal bar for my Tasman and can I fit it myself?

If you’re ready to turn your Tasman into a weapon, we’ve got a massive network of authorised stockists and workshops across Australia, just hit the 'Where to Buy' page on our site. For the DIY crowd, the install difficulty is a 5/10 and should take about 5-6 hours in the shed. We include a butt load of nuts and bolts and comprehensive fitting instructions to make sure everything sits nice and pretty.
